What does the “Common Good” actually mean? 🤔 It’s a term we hear often, but its definition has shifted through the centuries.

Join the Menard Family Center for Economic Inquiry for our next Food for Thought event! We are thrilled to host Dr. Doug Rasmussen, Professor Emeritus at St. John’s University and MCEI Senior Affiliated Scholar. 🏛️

Dr. Rasmussen will explore the distinction between “enterprise” and “civil” associations, comparing traditional Aristotelian-Thomistic views with neo-Aristotelian perspectives. Come for the intellectual challenge; stay for the fresh insights.

🗓️ When: Feb 26th, 2026 | 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM 📍 Where: Harper Center, Room 4067 Open to the public! Bring a friend. 🙌
