Civic Nebraska’s Lewis and Clark Trailblazer Afterschool Academy is excited to partner with UNO Gerontology, Dr. Holley’s class, UNO’s Service Learning initiative, and The Salvation Army for a special afternoon focused on empathy, connection, and community.

This event will bring senior adults and middle school students together for a beautiful time of fun, fellowship, and meaningful interaction. It is all part of a service-learning project designed to help students better understand the value of relationships across generations.

Thanks to Salvation Army, we are hosting the HOLIDAY FOOD AND FUN FAMILY NIGHT on December 11, 2025 from 6:30pm to 8pm at the new Salvation Army location 2424 Pratt St. Omaha, NE.
