Civic Nebraska’s Lewis and Clark Trailblazer Afterschool Academy is excited to partner with UNO Gerontology, Dr. Holley’s class, UNO’s Service Learning initiative, and The Salvation Army for a special afternoon focused on empathy, connection, and community.

This event will bring senior adults and middle school students together for a beautiful time of fun, fellowship, and meaningful interaction. It is all part of a service-learning project designed to help students better understand the value of relationships across generations.

We work with Civic Nebraska's Youth Civic Leadership branch at multiple different schools for our after-school programming! Civic Nebraska builds the next generation of Nebraska's civic leaders, and we are grateful to teach alongside them!
