One of the most efficient and weatherproof building styles around! A continuous building envelop R value between 40-50, windproof in F5 hurricane winds, which make it ideal for other areas of high wind, like the tornado alleys - of which Nebraska can be impacted by.

I took this training many years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The acoustics are something else, in a dome home. Such beauty inside, too. 🪷

Building a small dome home on a ring beam footing in Batesville, Indiana Back in April, we constructed an 800-square-foot Monolithic Dome home for the Sayler family in Batesville, Indiana. Situated among the trees, we poured a ring beam footer — instead of a slab foundation, attached the Airform, inflated it, and constructed a Monolithic Dome — and we took pictures.
