UNMC Interprofessional Academy of Educators The UNMC Interprofessional Academy of Educators is a network of accomplished or promising educators The tenets of the IAE are:

1.)

The UNMC IAE is composed of accomplished and promising healthcare educators including faculty and staff from all Colleges and units, as well as individuals in the community dedicated to teaching. It is an organization by the educators, for the educators, serving as a pool of expert teachers, crucible for innovation, network to nuture scholarly activity, and framework for educational and profession

al mentorship. It is meant to be a collective voice for educators at UNMC and beyond. The Academy will be an inclusive interprofessional community that engages faculty and staff from all UNMC colleges and institutes.

2. The Academy will foster a spirit of community service to improve the academic health center.

3. The Academy will mentor early career faculty and staff interested in education in their development as teachers and educational scholars.

4. The Academy will foster and disseminate educational research and innovation across the University and Nebraska Medicine.
