We're getting closer to a new year!

We are excited for the 2026-27 school year! We are excited to have you as part of our school community. At Field Club Elementary, our focus is strong family partnerships which result in positive academic experiences. We are a No Excuses University which means we all work as one team from school to home, preparing students for success in college, career, and life.

Back-to-School Event
Our Field Club Elementary Back-to-School night will be Monday, Aug. 17 from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. You can meet your student’s teacher, specialist teachers, and visit with our office staff regarding questions you may have.

First Days of School
In the first days of school, we will focus on learning routines and teaching high expectations for our students to be respectful, responsible, safe, and kind. You will see posters throughout our school with the positive behaviors we love to see. This evidence-based plan is called Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behavior, or MTSS-B. What it means for students and families is clearly defined expectations, celebrations for achieving expectations and learning opportunities when a student is struggling. Before and After School Care

10:05 We will walk to 34 and Woolworth to register
10:30 Parade begins (route will be between 34th and 36th Street on Woolworth)
11:00 End of parade

If you can join us, please wear a Field Club shirt (any color will do, but red or blue would be great!)

We will also have a limited number of NEU Field Club 4th of July T-Shirts for sale on Saturday morning on a first come first served basis. We have a limited number of youth and adult sizes in red and blue.

Please note the price of the shirt in the attached photo and have exact change (cash only, please)
Proceeds benefit our student activities fund.

Here are some upcoming end of the year events.

• Monday, April 27 – Board of Education Town Hall with OPS Board President Jane Erdenberger at Field Club - 6:00-7:30
• Friday, May 1st- 5th grade chorus, 4th, 2nd, and 1st grade. Band and Strings will perform only in the afternoon. The times will be 9:30am and 2:00pm.
• Thursday, May 7 – Fiesta Night 5:30pm-7:30pm
• Friday, May 15th- mock BBQ/Picnic and Senior Walk
• Monday, May 18 – Field Day
Primary students will participate from 9:30am-11:30am
Intermediate students will participate from 1:30pm-3:30pm
• Tuesday, May 19th- KDGN graduation 3:00PM
• Wednesday, May 20 - last day of school- Move Up Day - 5th Grade Recognition and Clap Out at 2:30

Good Day Falcon Families!

We are excited to share that a new therapy dog will soon begin working at Field Club Elementary. His name is Stanley, and he is five years old. Stanley is Mrs. Parkert’s dog and Herbie’s brother.

Stanley is kind, gentle, and very patient. He is looking forward to meeting our students and becoming part of the Field Club community. Therapy dogs can help create a calm, supportive school environment and can be a positive part of a student’s school experience.

We are also happy to share that Herbie, our long-time therapy dog, will continue supporting Field Club. Many of our students already know Herbie well. Stanley and Herbie will alternate days at school, so students can benefit from the support of both therapy dogs.

We look forward to welcoming Stanley.
