As we wrap up another wonderful school year, I want to thank you for your encouragement, support, and partnership throughout the year. It has been amazing to see the growth each student has made academically, socially, and emotionally. Your support at home plays such an important role in their success, and we truly appreciate all you do.I hope your family has a fun, relaxing, and safe summer!

As always, we like to plan ahead. Please see the attached documents showing next year’s days off so you can plan appointments, vacations, and other events accordingly. Regular attendance is so important, as every school day provides valuable opportunities for students to grow and learn together.

Thank you to all the families who joined us for the picnic—it was a wonderful turnout! It was truly special to see our students enjoying time with their loved ones and sharing those joyful moments together.
We’re excited to keep the fun going with Field Day on Friday, May 8th. We look forward to another great day filled with energy, laughter, and school spirit! If you are a Pre-K family, please reach out to your child’s teacher for more information.

🎉🎪 Get Ready for a Night of Fun at Our School Carnival! 🎪🎉

Bring your family and join us for an exciting evening packed with games, food, and fun for everyone! All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

🎯 Carnival Games will be held inside the gym and cafeteria, so get ready to play and win prizes!
🏰 Inflatables will be set up outside near the playground for jumping, sliding, and nonstop excitement.
🌮 Food Trucks will also be located near the playground, offering delicious treats available for purchase.

🎟️ Wristband Information:
Wristbands will be available for pre-sale next week for just $10 per PK–5th grade student.
Stop by Gateway’s main office area from 8:35–9:15 AM to purchase yours.
Wristbands include unlimited access to all carnival games and inflatables!
Student names will be added to a spreadsheet for easy tracking.
Pre-purchased wristbands can be picked up the night of the event at the pre-sale table.
Wristbands will also be sold at the event, but lines may be longer, so plan ahead!

Due to the inclement weather and anticipated road conditions, Omaha Public Schools is canceling classes for Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.

It is a school closure day, and there will be no remote learning. Omaha Public Schools Foundation Kids Club, TAC and other district offices will also be closed.

After-school competitions will proceed as scheduled.
