Shabbat Shalom from Shwayder! In this week's parsga, Va'etchanan, Moses reiterates the 10 Commandments as one of his final acts as leader. When they are initially given, the people say Naaseh Vnishmah, we will do and we will listen. A Midrash surrounding this moment, is that the people assure Gd that their children will be their guarantors. The Israelites who began the journey are not the same ones who will ultimately cross into The Land. Here at Shwayder Camp, Torah is experienced and shared in so many ways.. in words, in actions, in values, and surrounded by majestic nature.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to share this time and space with some our guarantors.
