Hello everyone! I'm delighted to share that Cameron, Leila's daughter, is graduating high school and I'd love to do something special for her in honor of her momma.

Here are some ideas: Send me a card, letter, picture or story that you would like Cameron to have/hear and I will take them to her party. Or you can send me donations and I will include it and your name into a card for her special day. It's heartwarming to think that it's been almost 10 years and Leila would be incredibly proud of how amazing her kids are. A little over two years ago, Cameron showed extraordinary strength and courage in the face of adversity when she was involved in a car accident that took Linda, Leila's mom, and I'm so grateful Cameron and Jayden are doing fantastically well and weren't seriously injured.

If anyone has any other ideas I’m open to them

I’ve done a lot of reflection recently. Talking with people I grew up with. Losing people I grew up with. No one will understand our time at Norris unless you were there. It was a different time. We were a different group. Everyone walked away with people that will forever a be part of their lives. Memories that will always be in our hearts. How quickly those memories flood back. I haven’t talked to anyone that would say different. 30 years later some of the best stories, people and friendships I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t change it. I would only change not telling so many of you how much you have impacted my life and how much I cherish that time. Love to you all on this day. Love to the ones that are here, love to the ones we have lost and love to those that know. I’ve been asked to work on another reunion. 😏 I’ll work on it because hell we gotta stop seeing each other like this.

Hello Everyone! I haven’t posted in forever. I hope this finds everyone well. As I walked the Koman walk this morning my mind and heart were missing Leila. I think about her every day. At the end of the the month it will be 4 years since she lost her fight. I’m not sure if many of you know but less than a year after her mom Linda was also diagnosed with a different form of breast cancer.She is cancer free and doing well.I’m letting everyone know now. We will have a team for next year to Celebrate Leila! I’m trying to think of other fundraisers through the year to add to our team total. Any one that wants to help me with this let me know. I hope you all will help me honor our friend!

So, I haven't been the best about keeping up this page the way I should. I hope everyone is doing well. This has been a crazy year for our class. A new "couple", many grand babies, traveling, divorces, illness of friends and family and great losses. Tell everyone about your 2016 or what your thankful for.
