Omaha Burke M.A.D Club

Attention MAD pups and kitties, the club will considering the allowing of doing a Dungeon and dragons-ish game that would allow the players to be on teams (guilds) and play against other teams with a fun deal of an anime or manga rpg. What's this game you wonder... well I'll tell you... its called guild quest. The game was created by yours truly and meant for the people in MAD, and may be edited by the people in MAD should you choose to play it. A full club participation would be needed so no one would be left out, so if this interests you, leave a comment stating your support or disapproval for further information on Guild Quest! Tally-Hoooe!!

Attention Lovable MAD club children of all shapes, sizes, ages, genders, animes and mangas. In celebration of the 4th of July, we will have a celebratory lunch at the China Buffet located on N 147th street near Lowes in honor of our nation's Independence day and another summer that we have to do whatever u weebs and nonweebs do whether it's watching anime, playing video games, spending time with friends, watching anime, and reading manga. So reply on everyone's avavailability for dates inincasethe 4th is not OK an then add if u need transportation, hlp with money, or if u can go or not go. A repost will be sent out within a 1/2-1 week once everyone's responded. MAD club, last day for seniors, we'll miss u all senors

Sorry for the lack in posting lately, fellow otakus. Tomorrow (Feb. 27th) is COSPLAY DAY! There's no theme this time, so come wearing whatever you want! Just try and keep it pg-13, I know how some cosplays don't leave much to the imagination :) We'll take a group photo too, and I'll see if I can't get it into the Burke Yearbook ;)

THE FUNDRAISER DEPENDS ON THIS!
Since this is card game day, any playing cards brought to the club will be more appreciated than ever. So, ANYONE DONATING CARDS THIS WEEK GETS A COMPLIMENTARY BOX OF POCKY!! If a grand total of 1,500 cards are donated this week, we can get our fundraiser started and get some serious funding for the club. So if you've got playing cards sitting around that you know you won't use, the club (and you) will benefit from them

For those of you that don't know how to play card games, there will be people to teach you, and as many extra decks to use as we can make :)

Sorry for not posting lately guys, to be honest I got caught up in work and completely forgot to do it.
Now that had changed! This week is card games, so make sure to bring all your decks and duel it out with the others :)

For those of you who couldn't make it to debate day, we ended up with two arguments; Pie vs. Cake, and Magic vs. Weaponry (in Skyrim)
The solution was PieCake. I believe we should all eat more piecake

The next four days of M.A.D. are now posted up outside of both our old room and the current one :)
This week we're doing debates, over anything and everything. Bring your facts with you, because things like Superman vs Goku get pretty intense

Strongly opinionated arguments are usually discouraged. Usually.
Debates are coming up though, so here's your chance to argue to your heart's content :) It can be anything from who would win in a battle, to why anime is better than manga (or vice versa).
If you have anything you want to bring up, feel free to comment or just say it at M.A.D this Friday
