I’ll be honest… I didn’t even know I was a people-pleaser.
For years, I thought I was just being kind, flexible, helpful.
But the truth?
It was a trauma response.

I had spent decades adapting to the needs of others at the expense of myself.
For me, people-pleasing wasn’t about fearing rejection—
It was about survival.
It was a desperate need to appease, born from years of control, suppression, and being told my needs and emotions didn’t matter.

So you can imagine… standing up for myself didn’t come easy.
It meant rewiring my brain.
It meant teaching my inner child that I could be my own security system.
And most importantly—it meant learning that I am worth standing up for.

These questions changed everything.
They’re not just mindset shifts…
They’re a pathway home to yourself.

Life Insight Class
We are continuing to add public classes again at the office. The very wise and wonderful Amy Peterson is going to teach class this Saturday at the office. She is an expert in Quantum Human Design. It combines Chinese medicine, psychology, archetypes, enneagram and many other insights. It is a great way to better understand yourself, your life and those around you. She will also teach the popular tapping method of self healing. She will also teach a meditation.

I have personally worked with her to better understand myself and loved ones around me. This can be a valuable tool for those trying to heal or better understand others.

This would also be an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about your friends or family and yourself.

My name is Amy Peterson. I am a Quantum Human Design™️ Specialist, Registered Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner and Mindfulness/Meditation Life Coach.

Quantum Human Design™️ is based off of your birth date time and location. Because it comes from your astrological birth chart it is based in centuries old knowledge and traditions. It’s a logical system that brings together principles of the I Ching, astrology, Kabbalah, Hindu-Brahmin, chakra system, and quantum physics. I love teaching people about their Human Design and how they can use it to tell the true amazing story of who they are.

When we are not telling a healthy story of ourself this increases or stress and anxiety. With stress and anxiety often comes pain and health related issues. Getting in touch with our self and finding ways to help relax and rest are so important at to our overall well being.

I’m very excited to have the opportunity to share with you all a little bit about Quantum Human Design™️ and Mindfulness at this mini retreat being held at Four Winds Natural Healing. During this retreat we will discuss your unique design. You will learn a bit more about what makes you uniquely you. I will also be including meditations and breath techniques to help you relax and reset your nervous system. I will also be teaching about EFT or tapping. Tapping halts the stress response or fight and flight response in our body by stimulating different acupoints or meridians on your body. Tapping can retrain the limbic system rapidly. So it is an excellent way to retrain your brain and in so doing calm your nervous system.

By combining the unique story of you explained in your Quantum Human Design chart with meditation and EFT techniques. We can reset and relax your nervous system decreasing stress and anxiety and improving your overall wellbeing and health.
