Last Day of School Celebration

The Gretna Public Schools Transportation Department enjoyed a wonderful last day of school breakfast as we wrapped up another successful school year.

Congratulations to our amazing Fifth Graders as you finish your elementary years. You will be a special part of Falling Waters's history as the first class to go from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what incredible things you accomplish!

Today and tomorrow are the last days to grab your things from the lost and found! They will be sent to a charity tomorrow afternoon.

Students truly enjoyed all the fun and games at Field Day! Thanks to Mr. Schlange for planning such a great day!

All library books are due by Friday. Some places to check for library books are under furniture, in the closet, on a bookshelf, or in the car.

Our morning began with our assembly where we wrapped up not only our month of Courage but we revisited all of the character traits we have worked on throughout the year. Students then moved to our final Guardian Groups where each student worked on creating a square for a school-wide Kindness quilt. We can't wait to see all of the different ideas and designs come together.

This morning we had our final assembly to recognize our April Students of the Month. These students were observed exemplifying the trait of courage. We are so proud of them. Way to go, Guardians!

Some fifth grade classes got to try out pendulum painting in art this week. Second graders got to make trading cards using the art medium of printmaking.
