Meet Dr. Laura Gill, Assistant Professor and Director of Creighton’s Communication Center!

Laura loves being part of the Jays ReNest project, which gives students a tangible way to live out Creighton’s mission of being for and with others. By preventing unnecessary waste and giving everyday items a new purpose, ReNest makes a meaningful impact on individuals and families right here in Omaha.

For Laura, sustainability is about more than reducing waste. It’s about recognizing the value in what we already have and using it to serve others. ♻️

🌱 Griffin Fanderclai

Meet Griffin, a rising junior majoring in Exercise Science on the Pre-Dental track with a minor in Spanish. His passion for sustainability grew through coursework, community service, and his involvement with Creighton's Office of Sustainability.

From organizing composting and recycling efforts for Welcome Week to participating in local park cleanups, Griffin is helping create a more sustainable campus and community. His advice? Stop by the Office of Sustainability, join Green Jays, or get involved with an SCSJ Service & Justice Trip to make a difference.
