If you've never seen it, Speak the Movie, a documentary focused on the World Championship of Public Speaking, is available on Crackle (and Amazon Prime Video, and Kanopy, I'm told). While the contest has changed, much of this movie still rings true. And 2008 World Champion LaShunda Rundles story alone makes this movie worth watching.
This is an amazing movie to watch if you ever thought about entering a speech contest.
