Our next two camps are sold out but spots still remain for the following summer camps:

June 22-26 - Ages 10+ - Over the course of a week, students will work together to write, rehearse and perform a mini-musical r***e! Led by Matthew McGuigan and Belle Rangel.

July 6-10 - Ages 8-11 - In this week-long camp, students will explore the art of performance through acting, singing, dancing and visual expression! Led by Elaina Delwiche, Matthew McGuigan, Mia Dempsey and Belle Rangel.

July 13-17 - Ages 10+ - In Theatre Makers, students explore the full spectrum of theatre arts from directing and acting to technical design and production. Led by Billy McGuigan with guest instructors.

Summer Camp Week One 🤘🏼
We learned about rock music then learned to play a song together as a band. We created band names and merch and wrote our own comedic sketches. It was an energetic week and we had so much fun! Thanks to our teachers for being so supportive of our students and big thanks to our kids who ROCKED their final performance!! 🎸🥁

In addition to our studio camps, we are excited to be working with Boys Town this summer, offering two art classes in their Summer Enrichment Program! Students will work on mixed media art projects with Samantha and learn about how to craft the perfect graphic novel & comic book characters and stories with Christine. We can't wait to spend June & July getting creative at Boys Town!

SUMMER ARTS LAB teachers are ready to rock! 🤘🏼

Danny Berger-DeRoos and Ciaran McGuigan will teach you how to rock your faces off in I WANNA ROCK! Then every good band needs merch! Samantha Collman and Elaina Delwiche bring your rock band art to life in ROCK, DESIGN, REPEAT. Camp ends each day with a little fun and laughter in THEATRE OF COMEDY with Kaitlyn Rudeen and Sammy Nelson!

We’re putting the final touches on SGT. PEPPER AND THE SEARCH FOR THE YELLOW SUBMARINE, an original production written by Billy McGuigan for our McGuigan Arts Academy Youth Summer Show!

Today, students in the theater program at Westside High School took part in a first read-through of the script alongside Billy (Writer/Director) and Jeremy Stoll (Assistant Director). Hearing the story come to life for the first time was such a fun step in the creative process, and we can’t wait to bring this original production to the stage this summer.

ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE Summer Camp for ages 8-11.

Step into the spotlight and explore the art of performance through acting, singing, dancing and visual expression!

Each day students will discover the power of teamwork in ensemble dancing. They’ll create expressive portraits inspired by theatrical characters and then the afternoon is dedicated to creating their own mini- musical r***e! The week ends with a performance for family and friends.

June 8-10 & July 6-10
$250 per week for Full Day Camp (9am-4pm)
$150 per week for Half Day Camp (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm)

Today was our final day of our History of Rock ‘n’ Roll class at Ralston Middle School with The Bridge Family Resource Connector Network, and we’re celebrating Mari Anne. 💛

As Program Coordinator at The Bridge, she brought us in a few years ago and has been instrumental in bringing our theater, art and music programs to students across Ralston, Westside and Millard. She’s been an incredible champion for the students, always encouraging, supportive and passionate about creating meaningful opportunities.

We’re so grateful for everything she’s given to these students and to our Academy. Wishing you a joyful, well-earned retirement, Mari Anne!

Young Creators Club is back this June! In this 4-week camp, students ages 5-7 explore their creativity through music, theater and art! It’s the perfect camp for the little artists at home who love to play, pretend and express themselves!

Camp runs Saturdays 9am-12pm from June 6-27
Registration is $100 for all 4-weeks
