🌸 Good Deeds in Bloom 🌸
Do you know Tala? — a UNO Goodricher turning leftover wedding flowers into moments of care. 💐
Through her nonprofit Bloom Beyond Collective, Tala rescues floral arrangements after events and delivers them to assisted living and memory care communities across Omaha — spreading beauty, dignity, and connection where it’s needed most. 💛
Balancing classes, CNA shifts, and community leadership, Tala proves that giving back doesn’t have to be complicated — it just has to be intentional. ✨
This is your reminder: the ideas you have on campus can bloom far beyond it. 🌱

Goodrich Community--We’re putting out an ALL CALL for ART submissions!!! The Goodrich Art Exhibit is BACK and being curated by senior Goodricher Grace Spaulding! This year’s Goodrich exhibit will be at Hot Shops Art Center! ANDDDD, if you want to SELL your ART this year, YOU CAN DO THAT!!! You don’t have to be an art major to submit, we would love all CREATIVE visions of finished work from any Goodricher (alum and current scholars)– check the QR code on the flyer below for the submission form and for more information! The art on the flyer is by Goodrich junior Adam Ebke and the flyer Graphic Design is from Goodrich junior Fiona Hti! Check out the message from curator Grace Spaulding:
My name is Grace Spaulding and I am a fourth year Goodricher. I am studying art history with a concentration in arts management. I am passionate about working in the arts and have experience in archivism, collections management, curating, and art handling at both the Samuel J Bak Museum, The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Special Collections and Archives, and BFF Omaha. One of my biggest goals in my pursuit of an art history degree is to ensure that arts and the community remain deeply intertwined. Goodrich is an area where there is already a fantastic sense of community and care, as well as countless creative individuals spanning multiple fields. Because of these factors, a Goodrich art exhibition is a fantastic space to foster both artistic practice and the collective community. The combination of alumni, current students, and faculty and staff reflects the span and impact of our scholarship program. I love that this is a space that allows Goodrichers to be represented and even possibly have an experience to be featured in an exhibition. I am so excited to see the works provided by all our talented members of the Goodrich community. I am excited for you all to take part in All in Common: The Goodrich Exhibition
