UNO COMP Club

Sadly, we have already reached our last meeting for the semester! This has been quite an interesting spring for all of us here at UNO’s COMP Club, and we thank all who have attended our meetings and expressed support! As this semester comes to a close, we encourage you all to join us and watch a concert movie to wrap things up! 🎵📼✨

We here at UNO’s COMP Club understand that at this point in the semester, finals are starting to creep up on everyone, and stress can build up. So we invite you all to come down to the Computer Lab, and enjoy a low-stress Album Listening Day! Help pick a short album to listen to, then sit back, relax, or do some homework to good tunes! Your choice! 🎵💿

Looking to learn more about the genre of hip-hop? Well luckily, the genre of hip-hop is the focus UNO’s COMP Club meeting this week! Come on in and listen to some music, hear about some of the genre’s history, and what makes a good hip-hop track!

Due to some schedule confusion on our part, this week will be a Jitter Demo, last week having been a Demo Day. We thank all who showed off their demos last week, and we hope you’re all looking forward to joining us for this week’s COMP Club meeting, diving into MaxMSP’s Jitter toolkit!

We hope you all had a wonderful spring break! Now to get back into the swing of things! This week’s meeting for UNO’s COMP Club, we will be looking at Jitter, a toolkit for the visual programming software MaxMSP! Stop by if you want to see this impressive visual processing tool in action! 🎵🔉✨

COMP Club will not meet this week, as it’s the spring vacation this week here at UNO! While there may be no meeting this week, our club officers wish all of you a pleasant spring break, and hope to see you all next week, where we’ll be looking at Jitter; a MaxMSP visual programming toolset!

The spring break is almost here. Perfect time for a mic shootout! Midterms can be hard, but UNO’s COMP Club is here for you, and we’ll be trying out and discussing various mics today! Be it condenser or dynamic, ideal for vocal or instruments, come by if you’re looking to learn more about the microphones we have here on campus. 🎙️🎤✨

Interested in learning about how to market your music? Well you’ve come to the right place! This week in UNO’s COMP Club meeting, the main topic is music marketing! Stop by the Strauss computer lab this afternoon to learn about and discuss the various aspects of music marketing, and some strategies to help you on your journey as an artist! 🎵💿📲
