Get to know 'The Hearing Aid Lady' Janie York! Janie will be hosting Spring Into Action: A Fresh Look at Hearing on March 19th, 4pm-6pm, at The Brant at Gretna Senior Living.

Janie is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, the Vice President of the Nebraska Hearing Society, Northwest Territorial Governor for the International Hearing Society, and a hearing aid user.

Janie is passionate about helping elders hear and communicate with their families and caregivers. Join us as we discuss how, together, we can elevate hearing care to essential care for those living in Long Term Care communities.

Get a hearing tune up: Check your hearing annually and tune up your hearing aids if you wear them. Protect your hearing: Turn down the volume and be prepared with hearing protection if needed. Look for signs of hearing loss in yourself and others: If you notice you're listening at levels higher than normal or needing others to repeat themselves, it's time to get checked!
