Last week, the Student Senate hosted the 75th annual Heart of the Walking Woman Celebration at Our Lady of Peace Chapel in front of our finalists' guests and via livestream

In recognition of International Women's Day, we would like to share and premier this video with our CSM community if you missed it!

At 1:37pm this afternoon, the 2021 Student Senate took their pledge and officially began their term serving the CSM community as the voice of the student-body!

While this year’s ceremony looked much different than past years due to the pandemic, the passion and leadership these new senators bring in to their new roles is something they share with their predecessors.

A full video of the ceremony will be shared later this week as well as individual headshots and information on these important individuals ... for now, the 2021 Student Senate wish to share the moment they took their pledge and began their journey with you

The Student Senate would like to congratulate this year's student nominees for the 75th Heart of the Walking Woman!

The Heart of the Walking (formerly Queen of Hearts) is one of the longest standing traditions at the College of Saint Mary/ These nominees were nominated by a student, staff, or faculty member who identified these students as portraying strong qualities of leadership, character, and service to the community.

Please make sure to congratulate these students as they move on to the application and selection process before identifying three students for each class (1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, and 4th year) to be elected by the CSM community and named this year's Heart of the Walking Woman during the Heart of the Walking Woman Ceremony on February 6th!
