Capital High School Parent Organization

Capital High School Parent Organization CHSPO is a group of involved parents, working to positively affect the climate at CHS. Our fundraising efforts primarily grant money to the classrooms.

Over the last 3 years, CHSPO has granted roughly $17,000 to CHS classrooms. The CHSPO has also been granted NON-PROFIT status, so all your donations are now tax-deductible.

📚 Accepting Transfer Requests for the 2026–27 School Year

Planning for the new school year? Transfer requests are now open for families wishing to attend an Olympia School District school outside of their assigned attendance area.

This includes new and renewal requests for interdistrict and non-resident students. A parent or legal guardian must submit a transfer request for the 2026–27 school year, even if their student attended the school on a transfer last year.

2026 Fall Sports Registration

Final Forms opens for fall sports registration August 1. Fall Sports include: football, volleyball, girls soccer, boys tennis, boys and girls cross country, girls swim and dive, cheer and dance (for cheer and dance you must have tried out and made the team).

Please follow ALL of the steps to ensure your student is registered correctly.

You must pay Pay to Play and purchase an ASB card in ordered for your student to be cleared plus the following:

Go to: www.finalforms.com
-Login into your account or create a new account.
-Provide all the required information. Both you and your student must sign the online forms before your student can be cleared.
-Upload a valid sports physical. A sports physical is valid for 13 months from the date of examination.
-Go to the OSD Payment Portal (https://wa-olympia.intouchreceipting.com/) and make payment. You must purchase an ASB Card (one time per year) and pay Pay to Play, unless your student qualifies for Free and Reduced Lunch or if your student is trying out for volleyball (volleyball is a cut sport).
Your student will not be cleared without both payments.
-Once your student's registration has been reviewed, you will receive an email indicating they are cleared for fall sports.

Deadlines for participating in the first practice:
Football: athletes must be registered by August 19, 8am.
All remaining sports: registered by August 24, 8am.

🚌 Transportation Registration for the 2026-27 School Year is Open!

Will your student ride the bus this fall? Be sure to complete your transportation registration as soon as possible to ensure service is available by the start of the school year.

📅 Submit your registration by August 15, 2026 to help ensure transportation is in place for the first day of school. Registrations received after August 15 may not be processed until late September, depending on demand.

📍 Bus stop locations, route numbers, and pick-up/drop-off times will be shared with families in late August.
