Occasionally, I work with elementary students.

A former prep school teacher, I've been helping students for over 20 years improve their academic performance across a broad array of subjects, with a special emphasis on preparing for the SAT and navigating the college admissions process. As a tutor, I work with students primarily in middle and high school to improve performance in subjects ranging from basic organization and study skills, to lib

eral arts, to math and science. I also work with students from late middle school through high school on PSAT and SAT preparation, with a singular focus on maximizing the score. As an additional service, I consult with parents on both strategic and tactical college admissions issues, from discerning which colleges to consider to perfecting the application, personal essay, and reference submission. My past experience includes teaching numerous subjects at the Trinity School at Greenlawn in South Bend, Indiana (1997-1999), including the honor of Teacher of the Year in 1999, the Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma, WA (1999-2000), and privately from my home since starting my own family in 2000.
