The Griffin School Foundation

What a wonderful and heartwarming Senior Luncheon with our community seniors! We were thrilled to welcome more than 80 guests to Griffin School for a special afternoon filled with connection, creativity, and care.

The Grizzly Grill prepared a delicious meal, while our K–8 students brought the event to life through service and entertainment. Kindergarteners delighted everyone with a sweet performance of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and shared their artwork. Fourth graders added a thoughtful touch by placing hand-written “curious questions” on flower cutouts for guests to enjoy and respond to. Our 7th grade band filled the room with music, and our 8th graders proudly served the meal.

A highlight of the day was introducing several students to their Senior Pen Pals—building meaningful connections across generations.

Thank you to Urraco Coffee for donating coffee for our guests, our The Griffin School Foundation committee for putting this event together and for the entire facilities, kitchen team, and administration at Griffin for their support! It takes many to make this annual event so memorable!

The Cody Brown Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating 12th grade student who has attended Griffin School for a minimum of 2 years. This scholarship celebrates students who uphold the characteristics of Cody Brown himself. The Finn Family Scholarship is awarded to graduating 12th grade students who have attended Griffin School for at least 2 years. The ideal recipient is well-rounded with an interest in community and a commitment to helping others. They will not necessarily be at the top of their class but will exhibit a commitment to excellence and the ability to overcome challenges.
