Invitation to Community Cafe 5/18 at 6:00: New Principal Selection process

Dear Options Community ,

This is an invitation to connect about selection process TONIGHT, Monday, 5/18, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the gym. Childcare will be provided and there will be pizza for the kids.

Join us for an evening of conversation and connection as we prepare to hire a new principal. Community Cafes are an opportunity for people to gather and have a series of small group conversations and then share the fruits of those conversations with the larger group.

We want everyone's voice to be included as we clarify our shared values and define what we are looking for in our next principal. We know that this is short notice and we appreciate your grace as we navigate the push and pull of end of the year events and the need to be timely with the hiring process.

We are about to embark on a big transition! Marcela is irreplaceable, and our program and our community is thriving thanks to her leadership. We are grateful for everything that we have learned from her and we will carry Lincoln Options into the future with a new principal.

Join us on Saturday May 9th at the Lincoln gardens (10 AM - 2 PM) for our annual garden fundraiser! In addition to flowers, herbs, and veggie starts, this year we also have bonsai for the first time. Bring tools or knives that you want to have sharpened. We hope to see you there!

We’re keeping plastic film out of landfills with a Ridwell recycling drive! Bring yours to school before May 6th! The collection bin is next to the office. We also have the chance to earn ongoing plastic film recycling for the school when 10 families sign up for Ridwell using our link . Find out more at https://get.ridwell.com/lincoln
