Coach has retired.

I posted last night about the sports equipment. Had no clue that there would be this kind of response. I have got enough people responding that I’m going to take the post down. This weekend I am very busy getting ready for pictures the taken of our house to be listed. I will contact those interested later.

Anybody interested in some/any of the home school baseball or football equipment. We have our house up for sale and I don’t want to move it all. Otherwise, it’s going to goodwill. It’s free, but you’ll need to pick it up.

I have lots of stuff

Baseball: Bats, Balls, Helmets,Catchers gear

Football: youth football, full size footballs, Flags, Penny’s

As many of you know, I have retired from coaching. I was not able to find a replacement coach for Home School Baseball. So, we will not be having a season this year. Please look back in the fall for any update of Flag Football.

Well, it’s not looking very good for tomorrow. I’ll post in the morning ASAP with update. Unfortunately, if we cancel there is no more make up dates available for me.

I’ve got a pretty nasty cough and cold (not Covid, thank goodness). I’m going to cancel football for this Friday and re-schedule for November 4th. I’m sure I’ll feel much better then, and hopefully we will get better weather as well. Please let non-Facebook folks know. Thank you

Air quality is good today. Now we just have to deal with the rain. As long as it is just sprinkling we will play. If it starts raining hard we will quit. Hope to see you all there.

Two things we will need to watch for tomorrow. Air quality, and rain. If the air quality index in “unhealthy” we will not be playing sports outside. If we cancel, we will add on a week to the schedule. I’ll post in the morning.

Actually hoping to get a lot of rain tomorrow, so the air can be “cleaned”. Just not sure it will rain in time to clear it up

FALL FLAG FOOTBALL WILL BE STARTING A BIT LATER THIS YEAR. MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING MARRIED ON SEPTEMBER 10TH., SO WE WILL START AFTER THAT. FIRST WEEK WILL BE SEPTEMBER 16TH. THE FINAL WEEK WILL BE OCTOBER 28TH. WE WILL HAVE A WEEK OFF SOMETIME IN OCTOBER (AS I WILL BE HELPING MY DAUGHTER MOVE TO VIRGINIA). JUST NOT SURE ON WHAT DATE YET.
LIKE BASEBALL, THIS WILL BE MY FINAL SEASON COACHING FOOTBALL. I AM HOPING SOMEONE WILL TAKE OVER EITHER OR BOTH BASEBALL AND FOOTBALL. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO TAKE OVER EITHER, PLEASE CONTACT ME PERSONALLY. I AM WILLING TO HELP GET BOTH UP AND RUNNING AND WILLING TO DONATE MUCH OF THE EQUIPTMENT I HAVE ACCUMULATED OVER THE YEARS.

Beginners - 9:30-10:30
Advanced - 10:30- 11:30

There is no way the fields are going to be playable with the amount of rain we got today. Sorry to do this, but we’re going to have to cancel our last day. Unfortunately, we do not have anymore rain out days available. Please let any non Facebook people know.
