Karen will guide you in therapeutic sessions to reconnect you with your body by attending to sensation, alignment and imagination.

Coming back to the body, which is the place of the present moment, allows us access to more than our pain, as it is our connection to our true nature as both a spiritual being and a biological animal. You will experience relaxation, inner connectivity and expression in a warm supportive atmosphere. Emphasis is on finding your alive embodied presence while respecting your limitations.

Every muscle in the body holds a story — a living memory of how we met the world, loved, fought, protected, and reached out. In Bodynamic, we understand that our muscles are not only physical structures; they are emotional and psychological records of our development.

When we reconnect with this embodied wisdom, we gain access to forgotten strengths, authentic emotions, and the natural dignity that lives within us. Through awareness, movement, and precise somatic understanding, we can restore the balance between body, mind, and soul — and reclaim our capacity to live fully, with connection, courage, and choice.

Because the body is not just history —
it is possibility.

Chronic pain is not about damage.
It’s about perception, protection, and sometimes, prediction gone wrong.
It’s really about helping people find what’s STRONG about them instead of what is WRONG with them. (dr. Joe Tatta)

We will explore physical & psychological coping strategies and somatic tools to increase ease. I am not a medical provider so I approach pain relief through an understanding of the neuroscience of pain and human compassion.

Getting out in nature with other people who are also grieving, even just for a few hours, helps you make meaningful connections with others and with the rhythms of nature. Making it a habit is an even more powerful way to navigate your path toward healing and peace.

Donate to our Give Local Campaign today to support our monthly drop-in, all ages Hike Habit program! www.tinyurl.com/WildGriefGiveLocal2022

At Wild Grief, we gather on the fourth Sunday of every month for a 2-hour hike, simply to be together in wild spaces. Anyone in the Wild Grief community is welcome. Join us for our next in-person Hike Habit on Sunday, November 27th at Woodard Bay in Olympia. Register at https://wildgrief.org/events
