🎉 East Olympia Elementary wrapped up the school year with an exciting Field Day this past Friday! Despite the rainy weather, students had a blast participating in a variety of games and activities, making memories with friends, and celebrating a fantastic year together.

A special highlight of the day was the inflatable ninja course, which kept students active and smiling throughout the event. Students also enjoyed refreshing popsicles provided by the PTO—an extra fun treat to cap off a great day!

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who donated their time and energy to help run the event and make the day such a success. We also appreciate our PTO for helping make Field Day extra special for our students.

What a wonderful way to finish the school year! Wishing all of our students, staff, and families a fun, safe, and well-deserved summer break. 🌈☀️❤️

We are looking for 2–3 volunteers to help with taping prep for Chalk the Walk tomorrow.

The taping will take place after student pickup is completed, with a start time between 3:45–4:00 PM.

🐍🦎 East Olympia Elementary welcomed the Reptile Lady to our school today! 🦎🐍

Thanks to sponsorship from the East Olympia Elementary PTO, students enjoyed an exciting and interactive assembly with the Reptile Lady. The kids were captivated as they learned about a variety of fascinating reptiles from around the world, with many students even getting the chance to see them up close and hold them!

One of the highlights of the day was watching our brave principal step up for a special reptile encounter of their own. 😄

A huge thank you to the Reptile Lady for providing such a fun and educational experience.

We love when a staff member has a great idea and brings it to life!

Our recess teachers now have a brand new Recess Cart for sunny day fun! PTO helped get things started with chess sets, co****le, and writing tablets — giving students even more ways to play, create, connect, and enjoy recess.

One of the best parts? This is something that can continue to grow over the years as new ideas and needs arise and as fundraising dollars become available.

We’re excited to see kiddos trying something new, making friends, and having even more fun outside!

Field Day Volunteers Needed!

East Olympia Elementary School is looking for volunteers to help make Field Day a fun and successful event for our students on Thursday, June 5th!

We need help with:

• Running activity stations

• Assisting with games and events

• Helping students rotate between activities

• Setup and cleanup

Whether you can volunteer for part of the day or the entire event, your support is greatly appreciated!

What a sweet way to wrap up Staff Appreciation Week! 🍦

EOE PTO treated staff to delicious ice cream from Humble Cow Ice Cream and it was a huge hit! It was the perfect way to end a week full of appreciation and celebration for our amazing staff.

A huge thank you to all of the families who donated yummy snacks throughout the week, as well as the wonderful volunteers who helped make everything come together so smoothly. Your generosity and support mean so much!

We are so thankful for all of the hardworking EOE staff who help make our school such a special and wonderful place every single day. 💙

Day 4 of Staff Appreciation Week was wonderful!

A big thank you to Johnson’s Smoke House for feeding our amazing staff delicious taco salads — yum! We are so grateful for the generous support from our wonderful local businesses here in East Olympia.

Day 3 of Staff Appreciation Week started off brewing with kindness and some yummy breakfast! ☕❤️

A huge thank you to All Seasons Espresso for coming out and treating staff to yummy drinks, along with generously donating donuts for everyone to enjoy. 🍩
