A Success Story*:

Summer of 2014, Jessica Bippert took the Professional Medical Careers Summer Program at New Market Skills Center. After her summer she signed up for the full year of the Professional Medical Careers Program. She attended New Market full-time, taking the New Market High School Apex Program along with her medical class. She passed the Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification exam an earned her Nursing Assistant Certification at the end of her Junior year.
Her senior year she continued her high school courses through New Market, she also took the Professional Medical Program for a second full year. Her second year in Professional Medical Careers she spent as a teacher’s assistant and student mentor. She assisted with planning of the 2016 Fun Run Scholarship event at New Market.
Jessica received the Dr. Kenneth and Elaine Minnaert Scholarship of 2,000 dollars. She received a 1,000 Norma L. Loree Scholarship from the New Market Foundation. She is currently attending South Puget Sound Community College, completing her prerequisite courses in Nursing. Her goal is to earn her Associate’s Degree in Nursing and work as a Nurse.
