Every family deserves a childcare experience that feels steady, supportive, and genuinely connected — and that’s the heart behind Wee Love Learning.

We are a nonprofit early learning center in Olympia, Washington, created to give children a place where they feel safe, welcomed, and excited to learn. Our classrooms are built around warm relationships, meaningful play, and daily routines that help children grow with confidence.

Here’s what we focus on every day:

• A nurturing, relationship‑centered environment
• Play‑based learning that builds real‑world skills
• Predictable routines that help children feel grounded
• Outdoor exploration and nature‑based learning
• Daily communication with families through updates, photos, and notes
• Community events that bring families together

We believe early childhood should feel like partnership — a place where children are known, families feel supported, and learning happens through joy, curiosity, and connection.

This is who we are.
This is what we do.
And we’re grateful to do it right here in Thurston County.

In early childhood, growth rarely arrives in big, dramatic moments.
It shows up quietly — in the tiny steps that build confidence, courage, and connection.

At Wee Love Learning, our teachers pay close attention to these small wins because they tell the real story of a child’s development.

A new word whispered with pride.
A shared toy offered without prompting.
A brave try after yesterday’s hesitation.
A gentle gesture toward a friend who needed comfort.

These moments may seem simple, but they’re powerful.
They’re the moments when a child discovers what they’re capable of — and who they’re becoming.

We celebrate these wins because they matter.
They shape confidence.
They build resilience.
They help children feel proud of themselves in ways that last.

Small steps.
Big growth.
Every day.

There’s nothing more meaningful to us than hearing how families feel about their experience at Wee Love Learning — and this thoughtful 5‑star Google review from Lisa B truly reflects the heart of our work.

“We’ve truly enjoyed our time at WLL. Both of my kids have attended this daycare over the years and we’ve never had any complaints! My kiddo enjoys being dropped off and looks forward to playing with her friends and teachers!
I like the app for daily updates on naps, food, potty updates, pictures and activities. Management strives to provide opportunities for community events with the kids and parents and to connect with the individual families. I would definitely recommend this daycare.”

What matters most to us is that children feel happy, safe, and excited to walk through our doors — and that families feel informed, supported, and connected.
Daily updates, warm communication, and community‑building aren’t extras here; they’re part of how we care for families as a whole.

Thank you, Lisa, for trusting us with your children and for sharing your experience so generously.

There’s something special that happens when children step outside — their bodies relax, their curiosity wakes up, and the world becomes a hands‑on classroom filled with possibility.

At Wee Love Learning, outdoor play isn’t an “extra.” It’s an essential part of how children grow.

Outside, children move their bodies in ways they can’t indoors — climbing, running, balancing, lifting, digging. These natural movements support physical development and build strength, coordination, and confidence.

Nature also invites sensory exploration: the feel of grass, the sound of wind, the weight of a rock, the smell of rain. These experiences help children regulate their emotions and stay grounded.

And when children take safe, supported risks — stepping onto a log, navigating uneven ground, trying something new — they learn courage, problem‑solving, and resilience.

Nature is a classroom.
And children learn differently when they’re in it.

Children thrive when the world feels steady. Predictable routines give them a sense of safety — a gentle rhythm that helps them understand what comes next and how to move through their day with confidence.

At Wee Love Learning, our routines aren’t rigid. They’re comforting.
They help children settle in, build trust, and feel grounded enough to explore, play, and learn.

A familiar morning greeting.
A consistent flow between activities.
A calm transition to meals and rest.

These simple patterns create emotional security, and that security becomes the foundation for curiosity, independence, and growth.

When children know what to expect, they feel free to be themselves — and that’s where learning truly begins.

Transitions are some of the biggest moments in a child’s day — arriving at school, saying goodbye, shifting between activities, or navigating those unexpected waves of emotion that come with growing up.

At Wee Love Learning, we meet these moments with calm, connection, and presence.
Our teachers slow down, get to the child’s level, and offer gentle guidance that helps them feel safe enough to move forward. Sometimes that looks like a quiet hand to hold. Sometimes it’s a soft reminder of what comes next. Sometimes it’s simply being there while a child works through a big feeling.

These small acts of co‑regulation help children learn that emotions are okay, transitions can be manageable, and they don’t have to navigate hard moments alone.

Because when children feel supported, they feel brave — and that’s where growth begins.

To a child, play isn’t a break from learning — it is learning.

And when you watch closely, you can see the skills taking shape in the simplest, most joyful moments.

When children stack blocks, they’re exploring early math and physics.
When they stir pretend soup in the play kitchen, they’re building language, sequencing, and imagination.

When they work together to solve a puzzle, they’re practicing cooperation, patience, and problem‑solving.

These moments may look small, but they’re powerful.
They’re the building blocks of confidence, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

At Wee Love Learning, we design our classrooms so children can follow their interests, make discoveries, and learn through hands‑on experiences that feel natural and meaningful. Because play isn’t “just play” — it’s brain‑building work wrapped in joy.

Children learn best when they feel connected — not rushed, not pressured, but genuinely known by the adults who care for them. At Wee Love Learning, relationships are the foundation of everything we do.

When a child feels safe with their caregiver, their whole world opens up. They explore more freely, try new things with confidence, and build the emotional resilience that carries them through every stage of growth. These moments don’t happen by accident; they grow from consistent, caring relationships built over time.

Our teachers slow down, listen closely, and meet each child where they are. It’s in the gentle routines, the shared smiles, the comforting presence during big feelings — the everyday interactions that help children feel seen and supported.
This is why relationships matter.
This is why early learning begins with connection.
