I found this line in Caroline Hax's answer to someone who was thinking about disconnecting from a family member. Caroline suggested she try being completely honest about how she was feeling before giving up on the person. Is there some place in your life where shining some sunlight might transform everything?

Humanity, you are endless. This is a collage I did over a retreat last weekend. How often do we limit ourselves to either/or when the possibilities are endless? If you catch yourself unable to decide between this or that, start looking in the cracks for the other possibilities.

I've come to a crossroads in my life, and am letting go of some beautiful things to make room for a new adventure. Stepping out of my comfort zone, through that doorway from the known into the unknown, I'm scared, excited, sad, and hopeful. Those conflicting emotions all at the same time can make it hard to see where I'm going. This is a time when I seek out a coach myself, to help me sift through the noise and move through the transition purposefully.
