🫀 The Life-Saving Power of 🫁
Every second counts when someone’s heart stops beating or they stop breathing. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a simple yet powerful technique that can make the difference between life and death in these critical moments. 👌
Here’s why learning and performing CPR is so crucial:
1️⃣ Increases Chances of Survival:
Immediate CPR can double or even triple a person’s chances of survival by restoring partial blood flow to vital organs until medical professionals arrive.
2️⃣ Reduces Brain Damage:
The brain is highly sensitive to oxygen loss. CPR helps maintain blood circulation, ensuring the brain gets the oxygen it needs, minimizing the risk of permanent damage.
3️⃣ Buys Precious Time:
CPR bridges the gap between a medical emergency and the arrival of paramedics. Every chest compression and breath is a lifeline, keeping hope alive until professional care can take over.
⚠️ Performing CPR doesn’t require you to be a doctor—it just requires knowing the basics and acting fast. 🗝
💡 Remember: You don’t need to be perfect; you just need to try. Your efforts could save a life. 🙌
👉 Take the step today. Learn CPR. Be someone’s hero tomorrow. 🦸♂️

Checking in with a summer car selfie. I have been working on creating a side hustle that has been put off since summer of 2022, and this summer I actually had an opportunity to dive back into it and make it happen. Early learning, supporting children, families and educators has been my passion for 20 years. After Covid, I got certified as an American Red Cross First Aid / CPR / AED instructor, but didn’t get an opportunity to teach, until someone contacted me in June to do contract work. You just never know where motivation will come from! 💜
Today my “training center” was approved. My goal is a return to mobile education, teaching classes / providing certification especially to those who support early learning, (although for the last few months, I’ve been doing classes for military, nurses, parents, etc. ☺️) I travel to your site with manikins & AED for a 4 hour, hands on, full instruction and certification. Minimum 4, max 8. New biz special $75pp.
Lil Hearts CPR - day 1! 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

I love Autumn in the Pacific Northwest! It's chantrelle season in the Olympic National Forest. These were found out past Shelton, WA.
These goodies were hunted and harvested by some good friends who were kind enough to share their bounty with me. 😍🍄 Forest hikes provoke the imagination of young minds.
My six year old friend discovered this magical hidey-hole. His mother told me his story: "M and I found this "fairy cave" while mushroom hunting. He said the forest animals' tooth fairy lives there."

Two more days of summer camps . . . I'm thinking see saws should be the next trend in student desks. 🤩

When end of day 4 at baking camp goes rogue . . . Waterway engineering!! They figured out how to guide flow directions, water level variations, and how water temperatures changed from one location to another. This is the stuff of summertime memories. 🌞💪💓
These kids have been amazing. 😊 Wearing masks, social distancing with helicopter arms, spacing themselves in play and still working together collaboratively.
