The Death Deck is a wonderful card game that can help get the discussion going in a lite hearted manor. I like the Party Play rules option, which lets each player take a turn drawing a card and read it. Then other players guess which answer the reader might choose. The player that matches gets a point.
This also helps explore topics we might not have thought about or shared thoughts on till then. Plus some of the answers are very funny or really insightful. Highly recommend for family and friends connecting in meaning full ways and its fun both one-on-one or in groups. www.thedeathdeck.com

There are so many wonderful lessons that this Woman shared with her family. I really love and admire how this loving strong in spirit woman was such a great example of embracing her journey and teaching her daughters by not hiding the situation from them. As a couple, they talked with their daughters and allow for open dialog, understanding, inclusion, and lots of time to work through their emotions for what is to come for themselves and their mother.
The ability to talk about what is really happening is one of the areas I hope to support and encourage in the families I serve if they feel it is the right path for them.
