Mr. Edwards, P.E. Teacher is teaching the power in yet when we are learning how to do new things!

Dear Families,

You are likely aware that our entire district is shifting from Skyward and due to this, registration and communication may feel delayed. The district will be sending out communication when registration is open for new families.

We hope to send out an email next week with important dates and updates. Until then, mark these in your calendar and share with your friends and community-

✨August 29th @ 3:00-your child’s teacher will be viewable and instructions on how to view will be communicated.
🍎September 2nd, 3:30-4:30 is a time you can come to McLane and meet the PTSO, get ice cream and play on the playground. At 4:30, the doors of the school will open and you are welcome to visit your classroom, drop off supplies, and ✨meet your teacher✨. At 5:30, we will close the doors and ask for families to exit the building-we all need to go home and get our rest for the first day of school! 🎉
👉🏼September 3rd, first day of school-if you plan to drop your child off, they can be dropped off as early as 7:45. Doors will open for students who are having breakfast at 7:45 and others will line up until 7:50.
🎒September 8th, First day for our kindergarten students.

We just wanted to let you know that supply lists for each grade are on the McLane website here: https://mclane.osd.wednet.edu/families/supply_lists

They can be brought to the school at the upcoming Back to School Night on Tuesday, Sept 2nd (more details to come).

Created today by students during our whole school celebration. Students filled the owl tree and their choice of celebration was whole school recess!

Families, this is happening now!
Drop off children’s books to McLane and we will donate to the South Sound Reading Foundation! 📚
You can send the books to school with your children or you can drop them off in the office anytime.

My McLane staff are very excited to welcome our preschool and kindergarten students tomorrow! 🎒
