Artcamp !

Yesterday we created Self portraits. And the children each had their own beautiful way of creating them 💖🤗 with yarn, torn paper and fabric .

What do we do with all that extra paper ?
We have a Confetti toss - of course 😁

Made by the company Lakeshore Learning , this is a school grade locking caster dry erase /Easel board . 52” high, 24” deep at floor , and 36” wide. I have painted canvases up to 36x36 on this . A few wear scratches that are cosmetic and structural steel sound and a workhorse.

Had some time in between giving skin treatments today so I sketched Doug from a photo freehand in charcoal, added a few lines of acrylic paint to start the composition.

Follow along and watch how this progresses .
I’ve never painted a person before .
