Mrs. Jones Firsties got to do some cool experiments with the JH GT kiddos this afternoon!!!we tested our homemade catapults & saw which item would travel the farthest!!!thanks so much to Mrs. Johnson & her class for making our afternoon so much fun!!!

As many of you know, my new challenge has been teaching 1st Grade. Mrs. Jones Firsties have been working really hard these past 6 weeks!! We’ve learned lots of things in a short time... we did a science unit on Apples! One day I made the comment I’d try to make apple turnovers with them. Well... they didn’t let me forget my comment & kept me on my toes promising them we’d do it! So, after all 3 of our tests yesterday, we made our turnovers & they had the best time!!! They absolutely couldn’t wait till they finished cooking . Such a sweet class. ❤️We are exhausted at the end of each day, but we always have lots of fun & laughs!💙
