💧NCF Envirothon💧

Five Olney FFA members traveled to Starkville, Mississippi this week to compete in the NCF Envirothon Competition with teams from around the United States and Canada. They spent the week exploring, learning, and presenting on this year’s topic: Non-Point Source Solution: It Begins at Home.

🇺🇸 WASHINGTON LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE 🇺🇸

Savannah, Blair, and Reyce are participating in the Washington Leadership Conference this week in Washington DC!
We have visited Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery, The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Smithsonian American History Museum. They are now checked into WLC and will continue to learn and explore through our Nation’s Capital! 🇺🇸

The 98th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention took place this week in Springfield, Illinois.
Olney FFA Members were recognized for their achievements in so many things, but here are some highlights!

🥇 NINE State CDE & LDE Champions
🥇 THREE State Proficiency Award Winners
🥇 THREE State Agriscience Fair Winners
⭐️ EIGHT State Degree Recipients
⭐️ SIX American Degree Recipients
⭐️ National Finalist in the National Chapter Award
⭐️ Section Winner in the National Chapter Award

While this only encompasses a portion of our members achievements this year, we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and their commitment to the future of agriculture. 🇺🇸🌾🌽

📣STATE PUBLIC SPEAKING LDE📣

Congratulations to our two public speakers who competed at the state contest this morning in Springfield, IL to jump start the 98th Illinois FFA State Convention!

Savannah Cycholl was named the STATE WINNER in extemporaneous public speaking!

Owen Kocher placed top ten in the state in prepared public speaking!

We’re incredibly proud of all of their hard work!
