Leadership development organization for students enrolled in Agricultural Education classes at RCHS. Our Chapter was chartered on October 14, 1929.

We are one of the oldest chapters in the nation! This site that will inform members and friends of the Olney FFA and the Olney FFA Alumni, to know what is going on with chapter and community events.

The following Natural Resources and Wildlife class just completed their Boater Safety Certification!!! Student are required to complete 10 hours of classroom instruction and pass an exam. Any person born after Jan 1, 1998 are required to have a boater safety certificate to legally operate a boat or PWC on Illinois waters. Congrats class!!!

🐴HORSE JUDGING🐴

Olney FFA members have had a busy week judging horses!

The team earned 4th place at the Section 23 judging contest on Monday with notable scores including two top ten individual placings! Abbie Ochs placed 4th overall, and Re*****on Meadows placed 6th overall!

Additionally, the varsity team tied for 6th place at SIU Horse Judging on Friday against 46 teams!

Congratulations to these members! Four students will compete at the state contest in February!

🇺🇸 SECTION 23 LTS & GREENHAND QUIZ BOWL 🇺🇸

This great group of Olney FFA Members attended the Section 23 Leadership Training School and Greenhand Quiz Bowl this evening at Wayne City High School!

They attended various workshops, heard from State FFA Officer Owen Rigg, and participated in a community service project.

While at the conference, they learned more about becoming agricultural educators!
