🧪 Science: States of Matter! 🧪
We have been learning all about the states of matter and how matter can change!
Yesterday, Ms. Tiffany’s class explored reversible changes by adding heat to crayons. They started with a crayon as a solid, then used heat to melt it into a liquid. Once they removed the heat and allowed it to cool, it became a solid crayon again—one they could even use to write!
This morning, they learned about irreversible changes. They started with a cracked egg as a liquid and added heat to cook it into scrambled eggs, a solid. Once the heat was removed, the scrambled egg stayed a solid and could not be changed back into a raw egg.
And the best part of their science experiment? They got to enjoy our scrambled eggs as a special treat! 😋
