🎉 GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT — Jersey Wells 🎉

Jersey is from Noble, Illinois — a town so small, autocorrect doesn't even recognize it. Which is fine, because Jersey doesn't recognize spelling either.

Let's address the elephant in the room. This girl cannot spell, and she owns it! By her own admission. She looked the radiography program in the eye and said "I will be submitting all papers via voice to text" — and somehow, it worked. Jersey didn't write her way through this program. She talked her way through it. Honestly, that's not a weakness, that's a legal strategy.

Jersey works at Joe's Pizza in Olney, which means she spent her days positioning patients and her evenings serving pizza. The multitasking alone deserves a degree.

Her favorite memory from the program? Study sessions. Which she described as "a little bit of studying and a lot of hanging out and laughing." So basically — hanging out. Her favorite memory is hanging out. We love the honesty, Jersey.

Now, Jersey is leaving radiography almost immediately to pursue ultrasound at Kaskaskia College, because apparently two years of school wasn't enough — she wants more. She's also picked up a PRN position at St. Anthony's in Effingham to keep the skills sharp while she transitions.

And through all of it — the stress, the tears, the voice-to-text essays, the pizza shifts — Jersey had this to say “I’m so grateful to have went through the program with such supportive classmates! Through all the stress and tears there was always someone there to bring joy and laughter. I am also incredibly grateful to all the hospital staff who slowed down their day again and again to help me grow into a confident technologist. Most of all I am so grateful to my mom who has helped me study time and time again (even when she has no idea what I’m talking about)!” We thank you too, Mom!

Jersey, you came in unable to spell posteroanterior and you're leaving a confident, compassionate technologist. We are so incredibly proud of you. 🍕 ❤️

🎉 GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT — Layton Harrolle 🎉

Let's talk about Layton. The man. The myth. The oldest person in the room — a fact his classmates have kindly reminded him of approximately every single day for the past two years. Thanks, guys. Really builds character.

Layton completed his clinical hours like a true professional. And by professional, I mean he showed up to a hospital 8 hours a day, 2 to 3 days a week and called it volunteering. Sir. That wasn’t volunteering, that was class. 😂 You were literally doing the things. But sure — volunteer. Put it on the résumé. Own it.

Now, Layton has decided he will not be continuing his education. And honestly? Respect. The man looked at a master's degree, laughed his dry, understated laugh, and said "Absolutely not." He has a wife. He has children. He has two job offers — one at Carle Richland and one at Deaconess Gibson — because apparently one hospital wasn't enough to contain him.
He's going into CT, which makes perfect sense. CT is fast, efficient, and no small talk required. Very on brand for Layton.

In a class full of young students figuring out life, Layton already had one. And he showed up anyway, sat in those seats, endured the age jokes, and earned every bit of this degree.

We are so proud of you, Layton. Now go home to your family — you have definitely earned it. 🥂

🎉 GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT — Danielle Brown 🎉

Last but absolutely not least — congratulations to Danielle Brown from Olney, IL, Class of 2026! 🎓🎉

Danielle has accepted a PRN position at Wabash General Hospital AND is heading to the University of Southern Indiana to earn her bachelor's in health administration. So she's graduating from one program and immediately enrolling in another. Glutton for punishment or unstoppable force of nature? We think a little bit of both. 💪

Her favorite program memory was all the carry-ins. Not the ARRT prep. Not the clinical milestones. The FOOD. 🍕😂 And we fully support this statement. Danielle was definitely motivated by snacks, and we would call her a foodie!

She also shared: "I am so grateful to have met everyone in this program and I am going to miss all of you." Danielle, we're going to miss you too — and we'll definitely be expecting you to bring food to any reunion.

Go show USI and Wabash General what an IECC grad can do! Congratulations! 🥳✨

🎉 GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT — Trey Trauger 🎉

Give it up for Trey Trauger from Mount Carmel, IL — Class of 2026! 🎉

Trey worked at McDonald's while enrolled in the program — his words, "unfortunately." 😂 The good news is he has officially upgraded: he's accepted a part-time position at Wabash General Hospital and plans to learn CT and go from there. From the drive-thru to the imaging suite. That is a glow-up we can ALL celebrate. 🍟➡️🏥

His plan to continue education? "Not yet, but maybe in a year or two." Trey, we appreciate the honesty. No rushing. You do you.

And his all-time favorite program memory was the Christmas parade his first year, which, honestly, is very wholesome. 🎄

Trey, Wabash General is getting a good one. Congratulations! 🎓🥳
