Foundations Equestrian, LLC We focus on building a strong riding foundation for a long & successful equine experience! Horseback riding builds many skills beyond those used in the saddle.

The focus of Foundations Equestrian has always been, and will always be, a complete equine education, including ground work and polished basic riding skills that will lead to a long and prosperous equine experience, no matter your personal goals. Jessica teaches a balanced seat that can transition into any discipline with an emphasis on muscle-building, secure balance, and solid equitation and com

munication skills. After several years of teaching therapeutic riding, Jessica is quite good at breaking down the required skills into easy-to-understand steps and teaching to many different learning styles. She employs a spiral teaching method, which teaches new skills while continuing to enforce previously-learned skills. It teaches riders to be respectful leaders, builds confidence and self-esteem, encourages responsibility and sportsmanship, and can even create lasting bonds between horse and rider (or between riders themselves!).
