I am sharing this info that was posted in the Olmsted Falls community page:
Hi fellow neighbors! I wanted to share a free resource here in Olmsted with parents of Bulldog Students! It’s called Charlotte’s Closet - it’s a partnership with Olmsted Community Center, Kiwanis Club of Olmsted Falls & the amazing Jill Blackman Mader and Mader Realty!
Everything in the closet (which is the entire lower level of Mader Realty) is 🆓 to any student! We have so much Bulldog gear, clothes, shoes, hoodies, coats, and an entire Black & White section for the band and choir concerts that sneak up on us parents!
Some quick facts about it:
➡️ It started in a literal closet at OCC, moved to the dance studio there (which it quickly outgrew) and then to Mader Realty where we had our grand opening last August.
➡️ Our most commonly asked question is “Are there income requirements?” NOPE! This is to help keep clothes out of landfills & Recycle ♻️, Reuse, and Repurpose! This also allows parents to save money- that our kids will surely find another way to spend.
➡️ The only thing we need when you come to shop is your child’s student ID # (and these kids know them by heart) this is for our grant purposes, to track the number of families utilizing it.
➡️ We are the same place that does the prom & homecoming clothes! Which, psst… we need some more donations of this season! We all know they aren’t wearing last years dress again this fall, so drop it off at OCC so we can expand the collection before September when we have our homecoming dresses displayed (and you come back to shop).
We are open Wednesdays 5-7pm and Saturdays 9-11am. We can’t wait to see you and your kiddos taking advantage of this amazing resource in the heart of Downtown Olmsted Falls. Mader realty is located just over the tracks on the left hand side as you’re headed towards the covered bridge.
