Miss Koger and the theatre program has taken over parking at the Calhoun County Fair for next week. She has run into difficulty getting enough people for the 4:30-7:30 pm shifts for Aug. 17, 18, 21 and 22. If you need community service hours we can give them to you for helping. Please consider assisting them as the theatre program could use the funds to help there program. Please respond if you can help (either parents or students).

Petting Zoo Help
1. Fri. Aug. 21 and Sat. Aug. 22. Help with the small animal petting zoo. You can then get into the fair for free. You park near the entrance and tell them you are helping at the small animal petting zoo called the Miracle of Life Tent and go through the front gate labeled below and tell them the same thing. Make sure you go straight to the tent and then you can go elsewhere after. I will have passes for you.
Shifts: 9 am-Noon, Noon-3, 3-6, and 6-9 (I need an adult to take my part from 3-6 & 6-9 on Friday and 12-3 and 3-6, & 6-9 pm on Sat. We need shifts covered by 2-4 students.

Sasha Kelly, Quincie Martens, Alyson Monahan, Maddy Patterson, Mckenzie Kemp, and Rylie Betts competed in Sweepstakes Showmanship. Mckenzie received 6th in the Small Animal contest. Quincie Martens placed 6th, Alyson Monahan placed 5th, and Rylie Betts was the Grand Champion Large Animal Showman. Rylie Betts was also the Overall Sweepstakes Showmanship Contest Grand Champion!

Champions from Dairy Beef Show. Sasha Kelly was Grand Champion Showman and showed Grand Champion Crossbred Feeder. Alyson Monahan had Reserve Grand Champion Crossbred Feeder, Lyle Lawrence received Grand Champion Market Steer, Jorja Stevens received Reserve Grand Champion Dairy Feeder. Maddy Patterson was 3rd overall showman and will be in Sweepstakes Showmanship!
