Our DCA Ambassador students are preparing for an incredible opportunity to serve, share the Gospel, and make an impact in Ecuador—and we would love for you to partner with us!

There are three ways to help:
🎒 Sponsor a Student — Help a student cover the cost of this life-changing mission trip.

👟 Give Per Mile — Pledge an amount per mile for our Mission Mile Run, as our team works together to cover 100+ miles in 12 hours!

🏢 Become a Business Sponsor — Partner at the $250, $500, or $1,000 level while supporting our students and receiving recognition for your business. DeSoto Christian Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and gifts are tax-deductible.

Students should bring a ready-to-eat lunch each day. On select days listed on the school calendar, families also have the option to pre-order lunch through RenWeb or the FACTS Family App.

- Tuesdays: Chick-fil-A - $6.00
Choose from a chicken sandwich or nuggets.
- Fridays: Papa John's Pizza – $2.50 per slice
- Snacks & Drinks: Additional snacks and beverages are available for purchase.

Please note: Lunches and snacks cannot be charged, so please make sure your student's lunch account has available funds before placing an order.

Today marks the beginning of a brand-new school year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, build friendships, and discover all that God has in store.

Whether it's your child's very first day at DCA or their final first day before graduation, we're praying this year is filled with joy, wisdom, and unforgettable memories.

The first day of school is almost here, and we can't wait to welcome our DCA families back to campus!

Join us for Open House to meet your teachers, find your classrooms, connect with other families, and get ready for an amazing school year.

- Wednesday, August 5
- DeSoto Christian Academy
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Come and go!)

Don't forget to pick up your car tags while you're here!

Band Interest Meeting Reminder! 🎶

Have a student interested in joining the DeSoto Christian Academy Band? We’d love to have you join us!

- Monday, August 3rd
- 5:30 PM
- LHBC Fellowship Hall

This meeting is a great opportunity for students and parents to learn more about our new band program, ask questions, and hear what’s in store for this exciting new chapter at DCA.

We’re also excited to welcome Ms. Terri Green as she launches DCA’s first-ever band program this fall! With 38 years of successful band instruction experience, Ms. Green brings a passion for developing student leaders, building a positive band culture, and helping students grow their musical skills through performance.

We can't wait to see what God has in store as we grow this program together! 💙🎵

As we kick off a new year at DeSoto Christian Academy, here are the daily times you'll want to keep handy:

- Morning Drop-Off: Doors open at 7:30 AM
- PK–4th Grade: Classes begin at 8:15 AM | Dismissal at 3:00 PM
- 5th–12th Grade: Classes begin at 8:00 AM | Dismissal at 3:00 PM
- After School Care: 3:30–5:30 PM

Reminder: After School Care is available for PK–6th grade only. Please send a snack for your child. There is no After School Care on half days.
