Accelerate Children's Academy Our philosophy is that children develop and learn by building acquired skills and knowledge.

Accelerate Children's Academy (ACA) is a Christian based childcare facility that provides a healthy, happy, and playful environment that enhances and enriches learning and encourages growth for infants to children preparing to enter KG. Accelerate Children's Academy (ACA) provides a healthy, happy, and playful environment that enhances and enriches learning for all children and encourages growth. Children thrive on routine, and a well-developed schedule will be critical to achieving that structure. ACA believes in discovery learning and infuses STEM and music classes for each child beginning in the 1 year old classroom. For school age children, ACA offers your child a safe learning environment after school, while providing an atmosphere where children grow academically and socially.

This week, our awesome Pre-K students at ACA leveled up into Fire-Safety Superheroes! ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ We've spent the week learning all about fire prevention, practicing our best safety drills, and finding out exactly what to do to stay cool and safe in an emergency.

Want to bring the superhero training home? ๐Ÿก This weekend is the perfect time to practice the 3 P's of Fire Safety with your sidekicks:

๐Ÿ›‘ Prevent: Do a quick home hazard hunt! Check that smoke alarms are working.

๐Ÿ“‹ Plan: Map out a family escape route with two ways out of every room, and pick a fun outdoor meeting spot.

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Practice: Turn your home fire drill into a 3-minute game! Run through it calmly so your little ones know exactly what to do when they hear the alarm beep.

๐Ÿ‘‡ Take a look at our little learners practicing their stop, drop, and roll! โค๏ธ

Our brilliant 2 and 3-year-old students are spending the entire month of October focusing exclusively on one special shape: the octagon! All month long, our little learners will be immersive "octagon hunters"โ€”spotting eight-sided stop signs, tracing eight points, and building octagons out of blocks.

By dedicating the whole month to just this one shape, our toddlers are building deep spatial awareness and counting skills through fun, hands-on play! Keep an eye out for all the eight-sided fun coming out of our classrooms this month!

Finding the right daycare center is a huge milestone, and going on a tour is your best chance to see how a facility truly runs. It can feel overwhelming when you walk through the doors, so we've put together a checklist for your next visit. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

Our most important tip? Trust your parenting instincts! A great center will welcome your questions and make you feel completely at ease. โค๏ธ
