Tuesday is a fun night to be at DC Dragons! Last night both our Tuesday night teams made some progress on their routines.

D1 Little Dragons- improved the opening stunt section and learned jump section. It is awesome how 40 plus 4-6 year olds can learn a routine with 1 day a week practice. They are also the cutest!

D4 Smoke got to hear a sneak peak of their music (always exciting). They have already learned the opening which includes tumbling new choreography and a few stunts. They have most of first stunt and their jump formation. We are so excited to have a division 4 team again and seeing these kids work hard is so rewarding to watch as their coach. Shout out to this team for having only 1 athlete absent out of 36!

Packed house on Mondays at the Dragon gym.

D2 Sparks - we did it - the team is now down to the legal competition size of 50 so we are ready to move forward. We have a super cute opening stunt that we will finish at our next practice. Thank you to the parents and athletes that agreed to move to our new Wednesday D2 team. Both teams will be great!

D3 Blaze- opening section - first stunt and 1st part of jump section done! So proud of the progress this team has made.

A big welcome to the new athletes who have joined - way to step in and become a Dragon!

Way to go Monday Dragons! Next Monday is a holiday - enjoy Labor Day. Work on your jumps - motions and be sure to remember your stunt group formation.

If you are interested in joining our new D2 FLAMES team on Wednesdays at 6:30, please let us know! This team will likely be smaller so athletes will get a little more personalized attention. Any NEW athletes ages 7-9 can register for FLAMES, use class code: 20974
