❤️🤍💙 OCTOBER PATRIOTS OF THE MONTH! 🌟

This month's character trait is EMPATHY! 💛

Empathy is about putting yourself in someone else's shoes, understanding how others feel, and showing kindness even when you don't know what someone else may be going through.

Our October Patriots of the Month are showing us that a little understanding, a kind word, or a helping hand can make a BIG difference! 🥰

👏 Help us celebrate these outstanding Patriots who are leading with kindness and making LIS a place where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued!

Way to go, Patriots! Keep leading with heart! ❤️🤍💙

🎤 HALLWAY HYPE MONDAY: THEN vs. NOW! ❤️🤍💙

Remember what school was like when YOU were a student? 👀📚This week, we're flipping the perspective! Betsy asked our LIS teachers, administrators, and staff:

“How is being a teacher, principal, or staff member today different from what you experienced as a student?”

From sitting at the desks to standing on the other side of them, times have certainly changed! 😂 Some things are different, some things never change, and our Patriots might be surprised to hear what school was like back then!

🎤 Same type of hallways, different perspective! ❤️🤍💙

🎤 HALLWAY HYPE MONDAY! ❤️🤍💙

Today’s question was simple… but the answers told us a LOT. 👀😂

“What are THREE adjectives you would use to describe yourself?”

Funny, caring, competitive, organized, energetic… our LIS staff had to sum themselves up in just three words, and some of these answers were VERY on brand. 😂

That’s what we love about Hallway Hype... getting to know the personalities behind the amazing people our Patriots see every day. ❤️

🎤 Another Monday. Another question. Another chance to get to know our LIS staff a little better.
Their halls. Their personalities. Our Hallway Hype. ❤️🤍💙

Our LIS PTO Basket Auction is officially online, and you have until:

⏰ Wednesday, September 30 at 6:00 PM to get those final bids in!

💻 HOW BIDDING WORKS:

You can place a bid OR enter the maximum amount you’re willing to pay. If you set a maximum, the system will automatically increase your bid only as needed when someone bids against you, up to your maximum. It does not automatically bid your full maximum amount.

👀 If someone outbids your maximum, you’ll be notified and can decide whether you want to jump back in.

💳 You will not be charged unless you are the winning bidder when the auction closes.

❤️🤍💙 IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ZEFFY:

Zeffy is the third-party platform being used to host our auction and is not affiliated with Lewisburg Intermediate School.

100% of your winning auction bid supports LIS PTO. However, during checkout, Zeffy may also ask if you would like to make an additional contribution to Zeffy. That optional contribution is NOT a donation to LIS or LIS PTO and will not be received by the school.
So keep an eye on that portion during checkout and choose the option that works for you.

As long as the auction is open this post will remain pinned to the Lewisburg Intermediate PTO page so you can get back to it for quick reference.
