Congratulations to Eden Stecchi, who won the Orpheum’s HSTMA for Best Featured Actress, and Parker Burns, who won the Bravo Award!!! 🎭✨

We are SOOO proud of all our kids!!! Out of 58 schools from 4 states — both public and private — DCA Theatre was nominated for 6 awards and brought home two 🥹💙

The Newsies spirit was alive all season long, & these kids truly “carried the banner” both on and off the stage 🎭🗞️ From “seizing the day” to pouring their hearts into every rehearsal & performance, this cast became more than a show — they became a family.

So thankful for this program, these opportunities, & the incredible students who make up this theatre family. What a special season, & what a joy to watch these kids shine on stage and represent DCA so well! 💙

Now that we have officially closed NEWSIES, we would like to stop and congratulate DeSoto Christian Academy — Allie Award Winners! 🏆

✨ Tatum Anderson won Best Young Actor in a Female Role (12 and Under) for her role as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz.

✨ Riley White won Best Young Actor in a Male Role (Play) for her role as a Dwarf in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

✨ Aiden Anderson won Best Leading Actor in a Male Role (Play) for his role as Peter in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

✨ Carter Hobbs won the Director’s Choice Award.

✨ Greg Mitchell won Best Sound for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
