We are on the road to NCTC! Excited to visit Gardner Webb University and see what other high schools have been working on!
Contact Mr. Mac and Ms. Highman if you are interested in helping us this spring! Onstage, offstage, student, parent, any and all help is welcome.

Skills and items we could use: carpentry and lumber, paint, sewing/knitting for costumes, costume donations, ushers, business donations/sponsorships, and so much more.

If you are interested in helping, but aren't sure how, please contact us!
We weren't able to hold our usual in-person performances this year, so we decided to create some radio theatre! After learning about the history of radio and podcasting, our beginning and intermediate theatre classes created productions using radio scripts from the 1950s and original scripts written in class. After recording their voices, they went and edited the clips to include music and sound effects.

Our first play in our series is "The Big Prank", written by Sam Jones. In the play, Ethan is a high school student with a talent for pranks. But when one of his pranks goes too far, he has to decide to either turn over a new leaf, or leave for boarding school....how will Ethan get out of this one? Listen and find out!

Enrollment for next year is right around the corner! We would love to see you in theatre class!
Oh yeah, it’s all coming together.
An update on our hallway decorations! This years theme: Joy to the World. We are celebrating all the different ways winter is celebrated around the globe!
The Advanced Theater Arts class has worked these past few months to write and record an original piece of theatre for the North Carolina Theatre Conference's Virtual Showcase! The show, titled Group, takes place during a group therapy session for students. During the session, the students share some of the struggles they are dealing with, and we get to see some scenes from their lives. The performance is available to watch here, and is also available on the Roku and Amazon Fire TV app!

We haven’t started playing Christmas music yet, but we have begun decorating!

We hope to light each student's creative spark so it shines wherever they go in life. The North Iredell High School Theatre Department is an extremely active program dedicated to educating students in the art of stage performance and other theatre-related fields.

The department consists of Beginning, Proficient, Intermediate, and Advanced Theatre courses. Additionally, Directing and Technical Theatre courses are offered to advanced students as well. We present several performances to the community each season, including two dramatic performances staged by the Advanced students in the Fall and one musical presented by the Musical Theatre students each semes
