Hello my friends!
October skies are here! Along with those gorgeous turning leaves, cooler weather, and longer nights, the hearth is lit and the candles are burning. Harvest time is upon us and we are finding gratitude in this bountiful season. Thank you for being here with us, and thank you for being a part of an absolutely delightful summer!
A congrats goes out to our Alaina Mitchell! Now Alaina Mitchell-Nycz! So happy for you and Lee, best wishes for a lifetime filled with joyful growth and good health. đ
đ This month brings me, Jessie, back inside to the studio. An adjustment on timing for Brooke on Sundays (restorative yoga is now 4-5pm for her!). A 3 week workshop on Friday evenings with Geena and friend Katie McMullen! A second opportunity to participate in our Sunday Swap with Cayla. Kids can dance with Miss Hannah. Open studio with Alaina! Come see us and bring a friend!
First I'd like to extend my deep gratitude to Pfeiffer Nature Center- staff and volunteers- for sharing such a glorious place with us all summer. Thanks to well over 100 Wellspring attendees we were able to donate a generous sum to this local treasure. If you are not already a member, I urge you to consider becoming one at Pfeiffer. It's a very affordable way to keep this space protected and public. Become a member!
𪜠While Pfeiffer classes are some of my very favorites, I am also looking forward to returning to the studio. After a couple weeks off, you can find me on Wednesday evenings 6-7:20pm for a new 6 week series: Yoga & Poetry! This offering can be a drop in, no need to pre-register, $15 or use your Wellspring pass. As a poetry lover myself I plan to share different styles of poetry each week, lead you through an all levels vinyasa yoga class and then allow for time at the end to work your own artistry and write a little something should you choose to stay after savasana! At the end of class there will be a few minutes for sharing and perhaps at the end of this series a chance to have a little poetry reading... stay tuned!

Lastly -
Our 3rd annual FREE MARKET will be December 12th 12-6pm. We are taking donations starting in October! If you have gently used, re-giftable items such as toys (think simple and no toy guns), books, household items and other giftable things - please consider donating them to the Wellspring for use in our Free Market.
This event is open to the public - it provides us with a new way to consider gifting for the holidays! Hot drinks and a gift wrap station will be open, you walk in and are given a prompt: "think of someone you'd like to gift to and walk around, when the right item reveals itself to you, take it!" ...have it wrapped and be on your way. We limit gifts to 3 per child you're gifting to and 2 per adult.
