It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have made the official announcement this afternoon, Kidspark Oldsmar will permanently close our doors.
These last SIX years have truly been a blessing for me personally, to serve our community as a local mom and educator. I can’t thank our amazing corporate offices enough for the help and support they’ve given us through these years. They brought a much needed concept to life.
To our wonderful community and patrons, THANK YOU. Thank you for supporting my small business, my small little dream come true. In six years we provided care for over 8,000 children! We helped parents make it to drs appointments, work weekends, long shifts, and even hit capacity on holidays where our public schools were not in session. We serviced kids in the state foster program and provided respite care for their caretakers.
The community so needed something of this sort. We rallied through Covid and did our best to rally through the back to back hurricanes that ultimately destroyed our facility. After tireless efforts to salvage what we could, we knew it was time to throw in the towel.
My children quite literally grew up within these walls. When I first opened, my eldest was 6, my middle was 5 and my baby was truly just a baby.
As I watch my teen, pr***en and 2nd grader thrive in their schools, I can’t help but thank all of you amazing educators and community members for being so good to us. For always understanding that we too, are just a few people trying to make a living.
To our empathetic staff who hung with us through the years, we thank you for your hard work and dedication to this community and our school.
Lastly, to our incredible director Lisa, who quite literally gave of her blood, sweat and tears over these last 6 years, but also gave of her precious time to ensure that the safety and well being was met with high standards and being delivered to each and everyone of our students.
May our paths cross again and may you find comfort in the care provided to your children going forward. We hope to see you out and about supporting other small businesses! Happy Holidays!
