Another meaningful Mission Monday™ at Oldenburg Academy!
Our freshmen, sophomores, and juniors began the day by joining the Oldenburg community for Mass at Holy Family Church. Starting together in prayer helped set the tone for a day centered on faith, relationships, service, leadership, and purpose.
From there, every grade level had an opportunity to learn, serve, lead, and grow—but each in a different way.
Our freshmen spent the day on campus for their retreat, focusing on faith, building relationships, and getting to know one another on a deeper level as they continue to grow together as a class.
Our sophomores put their learning into action through a day of service. Working in groups, they partnered with local organizations to provide meaningful assistance on projects happening in our community. A special thank-you to Batesville Memorial Public Library, Batesville Parks Department, Twice Blessed Resale, and the Town of Oldenburg for welcoming our students and giving them opportunities to serve.
Our juniors took on two different roles. Some served as group leaders during the freshman retreat, helping guide activities, build relationships, and make our newest students feel welcome. Others spent the day at Green Acres, providing meaningful service and spending time serving others in our community.
Our seniors spent the day off campus gaining more in-depth experience through their internships, continuing to explore careers, develop workplace skills, and connect their education to the real world.
