New grads welcome to apply!
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to fulfill an elementary school position with the option to pick up hours in our sensory gym as well (not required). Both places are located on Staten Island. We are continuously expanding and looking for the right person to grow with us. This is a part time position with the potential to grow into full time. Pay will be discussed, based on experience. The school will not be disclosed until hire.
NYIT OT Alumni:
Interested in an Adjunct experience in the OT program?
We are looking for a lab instructor on Thursdays 2-4 pm for entry level OTD students in practical research experiences related to the development of their capstone project topic areas.
Lab instructor will assist Dr. Elenko in advising students on topic focus in class exercises that allow the students to apply the knowledge gained in class to identify clinical research questions, locate and retrieve research articles, create literature reviews, reading and interpret statistics, critique research articles, appraise evidence, and construct surveys. This course is part 1 of the sequence that continues with methodology over the summer if lab instructor is interested in continuing. Lab instructor will be responsible for reviewing and grading assignments for half the cohort. Strong editing skills are beneficial.
