As the final grains of sand trickle through the hourglass of summer, here are a few reminders for our Coyotes as they return to school.

Our next laptop and 2026 yearbook pick-up is on Monday, August 31, from 3pm to 5:30pm.
Classes start for all grade 9 students on Tuesday, September 1 at 8:30am. This is a half-day and students will be dismissed at 12-noon.
Class start for ALL students on Wednesday, September 2 at 8:30am. Please hold off on purchasing any large quantity of school supplies until you attend your classes and you find out from your teachers what you really need. We look forward to seeing you all for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year!

Just an FYI…..
We tried opening the lower half of the newly paved parking lot today and the asphalt is still too soft.
We are going to close the entire front loop from the end of the day today until Monday morning. Please understand we are trying to preserve and protect the investment.

An update on the paving and bathrooms at OTHS…. The paving looks fabulous, but will not be ready for any traffic until next Monday. The bathroom renovations have made great progress! Go Coyotes.

Just a reminder, laptop distribution will be on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week from 1pm to 3pm and then again on Monday, August 31st from 3pm to 5:30pm in the cafeteria.
Due to the paving of the front entrance at OTHS, we are asking everyone to please park in the upper teacher parking lot and enter through the teacher entrance.
Don’t forget the first 100 through the door get one of the brand new white Chromebooks. They are wicked shaaaaaahp!
In addition, if you have not yet picked up your 2026 yearbook, you can do that too!
A real 2-for-1 bargain deal!

As the time to return gets closer, it’s time to talk about laptops!
We will host our annual laptop pick up on Tuesday, August 25th & Wednesday, August 26th from 1pm to 3pm, and Monday, August 31st from 3pm to 5:30pm.
In addition, if you are one of the first 100 thru the door you will get a brand new model!
This upgrade features a 14” screen, a spiffy white color and a look that is sure to make you the talk of the town, or, at least, the building….
Don’t be late on our first pick up day, these will fly out of here like a stack of Taylor Swift concert tickets!

Big News!
Josten’s has informed us that the 2026 edition of “Sage” is on the way and is scheduled to arrive today or tomorrow.
We will be doing our yearbook distribution on Thursday and Friday of this week from 1pm to 3pm!
Due to paving of the front loop and entrance, we are asking visitors to please park in the teacher’s parking lot. You should then go into the teacher’s entrance and then to the cafeteria for pick up. Thank you in advance.
